Practical information about our concerts at Ramme

The Havlyst Theater at Ramme Photo: Per Sollerman

Thank you very much for choosing to visit the adventurous Ramme in Hvitsten , and welcome to the concert!

To make your experience as good as possible, we would like to provide you with some practical information in advance:

The concerts take place in both sun and rain.
Our Havlyst concerts take place under cover and are performed in all kinds of weather. The atmosphere in the Havlysttheateret becomes even more magical when it drips on the canvas roof in the amphitheater! We still recommend dressing for the weather. Also remember sunglasses for our summer evening concerts when the sun is low and can come in from the side.

Take the bus back to Oslo— Ramme .
We are working on developing a tailor-made, new bus service directly to Ramme . Unfortunately, we will not have time to get this into operation as early as this summer, but please sign up for our newsletter and you will receive information as soon as we have news to report.

Arrival by train.
Do you want to take the train to Ramme , we recommend Vy to Vestby station and a taxi from there with Ski Taxi , which offers a good price to Ramme main gate. Pre-booking a taxi is recommended.

Arrival by car.
When arriving by car, we recommend parking at P2 or P3 (follow the signs). Parking fees are handled through automatic sign reading with Autopay/EasyPark (see more information on this page ). From the parking lot, it is a 3-minute walk to the main gate to Ramme , where you present your concert ticket. We recommend allowing plenty of time, preferably no later than 20-30 minutes before the concert starts, as it is usually very busy on weekends.

Walking in the park before the concert.
At the main gate you will be welcomed by our host who will give you further directions. For the concerts taking place in Havlysttheateret, the ticket gives you the opportunity to wander around Havlystparken on your own for 30 minutes before the concert starts. The park closes immediately after each concert, so walking after the concert will not be possible.

Enjoy a meal in connection with your concert visit.
All of the destination's restaurants and shops are open during our concerts (see exact opening hours at ramme.no ). If you want to enjoy a proper meal, we recommend that you book a table in the restaurant at hello@ramme.no or by calling +47 64 98 32 00.

There will be kiosk service in Havlystparken (both snacks, beer/wine and locally produced, non-alcoholic refreshments) before all concerts, as well as during the break for those concerts that have a break. Please note that bringing in drinks is not allowed .

Photography, dogs, strollers and other information:
Photography
for private use is of course permitted — and preferably during the applause or between pieces to avoid disturbing the musicians and the audience around you when the music is being performed. Share your memories on social media and tag @ aulaseriene , @ramme.no and @rammefjordhotell so your friends can also see where you are!

Strollers can be parked at the entrance. Steep walls and stone steps can be slippery, and children should be accompanied and supervised by adults. All travel is at your own risk.

With the exception of guide dogs, unfortunately four-legged friends must be left at home. This is done in the interests of the farm and the welfare and safety of the animals. However, portable dogs are allowed.

The park is home to many different animals, both on land and in the water. The ponds and streams are home to fish and salamanders that do not want to be disturbed, as are the birds. Be careful and observant when moving around .

Again, thank you very much for wanting to experience Ramme and our concerts. We look forward to seeing you!
