— The next generation of musicians meet established voices.
This evening we welcome you to a completely new concert concept in Håkonshallen. Over the course of four half-hour concerts, you will experience several generations of young musicians — in collaboration with a handful of established names. The programs are carefully tailored for the occasion, and you can come and go as you wish between the sections.
The audience can look forward to getting to know several great talents from Bergen: violinist Henning Felde Haldorsen , soprano Helen Tyssekvam and pianist Kei Solvang . We will also get to know violinist Alma Kraggerud , who already has an international career despite her young age. The established mentors are artistic director and pianist Thormod Rønning Kvam , as well as folk musician and composer Benedicte Maurseth — who takes us to the Hardangervidda in her solo section for Hardanger fiddle.
